It can be overwhelming to study English when you don't know what to study. It saves time to have quality instructors. All of our teachers have experience and certificates or graduate degrees in teaching English as a second language.



You are busy with your family and work, so you need courses that are affordable, convenient, and in a good location.

Connect Language Center offers morning and evening classes with limited childcare so that you can practice your English without interrupting your life.



It is difficult to live in the USA without English. We designed our courses to give you the language practice that will empower you to get better jobs and opportunities for you and your family.



Living in the USA as an international can feel lonely, especially when you cannot speak English well.

There is a 1-time, $50 registration fee.

There is an additional $25 late fee for

English for Life and Work

English for Life and Work focuses on building vocabulary and fluency for everyday tasks common to life and work in the United States. This course has 5 levels from low beginner to advanced. All materials are included.

Speaking Well in the U.S.

Speaking Well in the U.S. focuses on developing accuracy in using English grammar and American pronunciation in every day speech. This course has 5 levels from low beginner to advanced. All materials are included.

Friday Morning Book Clubs

Friday Morning Book Clubs are for intermediate to advanced learners to build reading and conversation skills through book discussions. This course has two levels: intermediate and advanced.

ESL and Film

ESL and Film is for intermediate to advanced learners to build critical thinking, vocabulary, and conversation skills through lessons built around watching films. 2 levels: intermediate and advanced. All materials are included.

Richard received his undergraduate degrees in English and History at the University of Memphis. He then went on to do a Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language at the University of Memphis where he also taught adult ESL in Intensive English for Internationals from 2012 to 2018. Richard also taught EFL to college students in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2009. In his spare time, Richard likes spending time with his wife Hope, reading, listening to music, watching movies, exploring Memphis, and skateboarding.

Bailey received her undergraduate degree in Spanish at the University of Tennessee. Since 2013, she has been teaching and working with both elementary age and adult ESL students. Having grown up in Memphis, she has loved discovering the diverse cultures in her hometown. She has lived, studied, and worked in countries such as Chile, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. Bailey enjoys running, reading, and spending time with friends.

Logan received his undergraduate degree in history at the University of Memphis. He has been serving the international community, specifically the refugee community, since 2013. He obtained his TEFL certification in 2016, and has been working with adult ESL students. He has been teaching refugees by helping them improve their employability in the US workforce through a jobs readiness based ESL programming. Logan is a native Memphian, and loves the diversity that makes Memphis unique. He thoroughly enjoys. backpacking, fishing, listening to music, and playing soccer.
